Graco Simple Sway Baby Swings Are A Life Saver!

6:47:00 PM

Thank God for baby swings! I am so glad that I purchased their swings this week. I finally have more quiet time to concentrate as they swing away. I can finally move around without having to be a stealth ninja because if they see or hear me leave or enter the room, they make me pay for it. But, now the swings mask my movements and I can go and come as I please. I also don't have to wrap my arms around two screaming babies and be completely immobile. I just put them in their swings and then continue working. I've regained a bit of my freedom.

I purchased my swings.  This is NOT a sponsored post.  I ordered the colors Caris and Stratus.

The swing sways from side-to-side.  It has six speeds to select from.  My babies prefer Level 2.  You can use batteries with these models or plug them in.  I plug it in to save money on batteries because I learned my lesson with my first two kids years ago.  Batteries are so expensive now and with baby items like these where they will constantly need replacing, you better own shares in Duracell or Energizer.  There's a mobile that hangs above the swing, but my babies are too young to reach it.  The swing is programmed with classical music and nature sounds.  It has a harness to keep the babies buckled in and there's also a vibration feature.  My twins don't seem to like the vibration feature so I don't use it.

If I could improve on this swing, I would make the decorative fabric areas easily detachable so that I could just take them off and throw them in the laundry.  As it is now, you need a screwdriver to remove the entire hammock.  Once the swing is fully assembled, it's not that easy to get the hammock on and off every time you need to wash it.  It would be better if the hammock part was secured with the screws.  Then, the decorative top portion where the babies actually touch could be held on to the hammock with velcro or snaps.  Other than this, I like the swing and I would recommend it to other parents.
